Been searching for a charity for the sock to support, but wasn’t really digging anything. I wanted something that helped young people sort their heads out really… then saw this woman from a charity called calm the other day who was pointing out that suicide is one of the biggest killers of young men in the UK. so the sock thought that was a pretty cool charity – especially considering the amount of teen punks currently baying for my blood on youtube – ha – so calm it is. All money raised from the sale of the PDF downloadable eBook “How to make Punk Rock Sock” henceforth and back since this whole gig started will be faithfully given to the nice people at calm. check em out – http://www.thecalmzone.net

nudged over 300 plays on YouTube – the fame is coming on slowly, but surely still – there’s 69 FB fans, this is the army that will take PRS to the world. I’ve also bagged £60 worth of Google adwords vouchers, so more free advertising coming our way. Also – through the magic of wordpress, PRS can be found in second place on Google when you search for ‘punk rock sock’

Let the real party begin
With the initial free Facebook ads going out to Chris Moyles fans showing poor results (57 clicks, no fans.. boo) we’ve turned our attention to the one group in society that really matters – the yout! With the ad only activated this morning we’ve got 20 clicks and 3 fans… not a bad conversion rate if we can keep it up!
So, if you’re an original fan, be proud – you can say you were there when it all began. And don’t forget – tell your friends!

We got our first negative comment on YouTube today, which I think is the sign of a healthy movement.

I’ve got $100 worth of free facebook advertising for signing up to some visa thing or something. So I’m gonna hit all the chris moyles fans with ads saying they should bug him to get me on the show…! Other than that, it’s word of mouse all the way baby!

The video is live! I’ve got my facebook page. I’m having some problems making Google notice me, but WTF, who cares? I sold my first ringtone today, so that makes me happy! Fame! Fortune! Rock and roll lifestyle here I come! I want to get on the BBC Radio 1 Chris Moyles Show and show some “Oi!” love to the world. When people hear the glory of “Oi!” they’ll put their differences aside, lay down their arms and join together for the glory of punk rock! So throw me a frickin’ bone will ya. Share the love.
